General Ticket Information

• A ticket (including paper and electronic equivalents) is a revocable license subject to termination, and which may be revoked at the sole discretion of the Appell Center.
• All attendees must have a ticket, regardless of age, and tickets are valid only for the event, date, time and seat indicated.
• When ordering online, please complete all requested information. Completing the transaction information allows for efficient and prompt processing and email communications.
• Please check all tickets to ensure you have the correct performance, date and time.
• Tickets ordered by mail will be subject to a $3.00 per order fee. York Symphony Orchestra subscriptions and packages will be subject to a $3.00 per subscription/package mailing fee.
• Ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event for which this ticket is issued, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event, and agrees that the Appell Center, presenters, agents, participants or artists are not responsible or liable for any injuries, sickness or death resulting from such causes.
• The Appell Center for the Performing Arts is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged tickets.
• The Appell Center is the sole authorized distributor of tickets for its events. Tickets purchased from third-party vendors or unauthorized sources may be invalid and could be declined for entry. The Appell Center is not responsible for issues arising from tickets obtained through unauthorized sellers.

Ticket Refunds/Exchanges

All ticket sales are final. The Appell Center does not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason—including seat location, event quality or weather.

If Secure My Booking Ticket Insurance was added at the time of purchase, coverage is handled by the insurance provider. Please review their Terms and Conditions for details on what is covered. The Appell Center does not administer or determine coverage under this program.

This optional coverage became available starting January 2026. Tickets purchased before this date were not eligible for insurance, and standard refund/exchange policies apply.

When a Show is Canceled
If a show is canceled for any reason, the Appell Center will contact you using the email address or phone number on your account with details about whether the performance will be rescheduled or if refunds will be issued. Please keep your tickets until options are announced. Any refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method. Purchases made by cash or check will be refunded by check and mailed to the address on file.

Appell Center Member and Subscriber Ticket Exchange
Appell Center Members ($300 and above) and Subscribers of the Glatfelter Insurance Broadway Series and/or Menchey Music Family Series may exchange tickets up to 48 hours before a performance, subject to availability. Exchanges must be for another performance of equal or lesser value. Subscribers of Glatfelter Insurance Broadway Series and/or Menchey Music Family Series may only exchange tickets within each series.

Exchanges are not available for VIP packages, discounted/promotional tickets, group tickets or vouchers. Only the original ticket buyer can make changes to an order.

If no suitable performance is available, Members ($300 and above) may place the value of unused tickets “On Account” when notification is provided more than 48 hours prior to the performance. These funds must be used for future ticket purchases or donated to the Appell Center within three years of being placed on account.

Photo Use Policy

By purchasing a ticket and entering the premises of Appell Center for the Performing Arts, all guests age 18 and over grant permission for their likeness to potentially be used in photographs, videos or other digital media for the theatre’s promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to website, social media, print materials and advertisements.

Guests who do not wish to have their photo used for such purposes should notify a staff member upon arrival. Those guests will be provided a visible identifier (e.g. wristband) to make photographers aware of their preference.

Group Tickets
All groups of 10 or more people are eligible for a 10% discount off tickets for performances at the Appell Center. Bring your friends, family, co-workers or classmates to the theater and save! Some restrictions may apply.
