Hosted by Friends of Lebanon Cemetery as part of a weekend of events celebrating Juneteenth in York, join us for a free screening of this new documentary by filmmaker Bryan Wade. The film explores the movement that flourished right here in South Central Pennsylvania, featuring the contributions of Quakers, Black and white conductors, and other activists who risked everything to stand up for freedom.

Immediately following the screening, York historian Samantha Dorm will lead a roundtable discussion with Bryan Wade and other local historians.

Tickets are free, but please register through the link above.

Funding generously provided by Shipley Energy.
