Known for his powerful voice, masterful musicianship and uplifting performances, Dixon and his trio — featuring Randy Schrager on drums and Dan Asher on bass —showcase Dixon’s timeless, captivating songwriting, soulful vocals and expressive keyboard work, brought to life through the band’s dynamic interplay and musical virtuosity.
Hailing from the heart of Cumberland county, PA, Cumberland Honey opens the show bringing sweet harmonies with folk and soul influences and a taste of bluegrass. Their original songs weave stories of life and love with heartfelt harmonies that feel like home.
Born and raised in Tennessee, Gabe Dixon is a Nashville based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Since he first emerged in 1999, he has been penning honest and heartfelt songs that continue to garner fans and crowds across the globe. His songs have been covered by many: Garth Brooks, Taj Mahal, Keb Mo and Ben Rector to name a few. Dixon’s music has also appeared in major films such as The Proposal and TV shows such as Nashville, Grey’s Anatomy, Vampire Diaries and Parks & Recreation.
Along with his own appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show, Dixon has performed and collaborated with notable acts like Paul McCartney, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Supertramp, Loggins & Messina, and O.A.R. In 2019, Dixon joined Tedeschi Trucks Band as a full-time keyboardist and vocalist contributing significantly to the writing and recording of the band’s last 4-album tour-de-force, I Am The Moon. Dixon and his trio were subsequently featured on the 36-show “Wheels Of Soul” tour alongside Tedeschi Trucks Band and Los Lobos. Recently, Dixon has continued to captivate listeners, releasing his full-length studio album, Parts I’ve Played, alongside multiple live and studio EPs, with another full-length record on the horizon.
