The Lancaster Living Poetry Museum comes to York!

Join Dana Kinsey, Lancaster City Poet Laureate and Appell Center Teaching Artist, for a night of live theatre as The Lancaster Living Poetry Museum takes the stage in an exciting multimedia, educational production. Some of Central PA’s best spoken word performers bring 14 poets to life, sharing their lives and work in one-person shows. You’ll meet Shakespeare, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Shel Silverstein, Andrea Gibson, and more! Learn about poets you didn’t know were poets like Muhammed Ali and Amelia Earhart. This inspirational show celebrates how these passionate writers used words to transcend and connect, lift and motivate, inspire and transform.
