Zachary and Dylan Zmed are an Americana brother duo that specializes in the rich tradition of blood harmony singing. They are originally from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California and now reside in the hills of middle Tennessee. From 2012 to 2015 they gained a strong local following in LA as a guitar and mandolin duo performing original music and covers in a multitude of professional settings. Over the years The Zmed Brothers have opened for acts like Micheal Martin Murphy, Micheal McDonald, Ambrosia, The Alan Parsons Project, Player, The Young Dubliners, Fishbone, Kings Of Leon, and Chevy Metal to name a few.
In 2015 The Zmed Brothers created a show that pays tribute to the pivotal music and history of Don and Phil Everly, The Everly Brothers Experience. Zach and Dylan express that, “We are not impersonators, instead we aim to honor their brotherly legacy through our own spirits. As song writers, as performers, and as brothers – their story has taught us, and continues to teach us, so much.” The Zmed Brothers weave together a personal and heartfelt program featuring original songs, classic Everly songs and a selection of timeless ’50’s and ’60’s hits from the great American Song book.
