FAMILY WORKSHOP: BALLET FOR EVERYONE
FAMILY WORKSHOP: BALLET FOR EVERYONE
FAMILY WORKSHOP: BALLET FOR EVERYONE
Dance artist and Juilliard University graduate Jason Reed will conduct an Arts In Education (AIE) movement/dance class with his unique approach utilizing dance and pop culture to engage and foster self-discovery and creativity while also promoting relevant life skills necessary for success. He believes that visual and performing arts are essential for being a well-rounded student.
Countless athletes and celebrities (both amateurs and professionals) take dance instruction to enhance, support, strengthen and improve their individual performance – artists like Beyonce, Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Saldana, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Jackman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brian Shaw and Michael Jordan, whose iconic “Jump Man” logo was a ballet step! Jordan has said, “Everyone thought I did that by running and taking off. Actually, it was a ballet move where I jumped up and spread my legs.”
Join us in a fun and relaxed atmosphere for movement and lots of fun, regardless of previous experience or abilities.
This is a family workshop recommended for children ages 4 – 7 and their adults. Adults are strongly encouraged to participate, and all attendees should wear comfortable shoes for moving.
