When Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), an African American man, visits his white girlfriend (Allison Williams)’s family estate, he becomes ensnared in a sinister plot. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to an unimaginable truth. Written, co-produced and directed by Jordan Peele in his directorial debut, you may be familiar with his other works, including Us (2019) and Nope (2022).
