In a stunning program, the YSO concludes its year-long celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven with a full-circle event: Beethoven’s First and Ninth Symphonies on one program. The German indulged his innovative spirit when creating his First Symphony, which is renowned for announcing its author’s originality. The York Symphony Orchestra and Chorus join together to perform Beethoven’s final masterpiece, the Ninth Symphony. The work’s enduring grandeur continues to inspire generations of music lovers and stands as a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire.

2) To watch the concert: Go to the YouTube app on your smart tv. Then go to your “watch later” list and choose the livestream concert. Sit back and enjoy the concert!
