Bring characters to life and dive into exciting scenes! Learn to make bold choices, connect with your scene partner, and perform with confidence. In this class, you’ll explore character development, relationships, and text analysis while rehearsing scenes, all while having fun along the way. The 6-week class includes a performance of select scenes open to the public the last week!
Full and partial scholarships are available to students under 18 for all Appell Center classes. Please contact ajmyers@appellcenter.org for more information.

More about the Instructor
Ángel Nuñez is the executive director of OrangeMite Shakespeare Company. He has worked with community theatres and theatre companies such as Shakespeare in Yosemite which performs an annual eco-adaptation of a Shakespeare play in Yosemite National Park. Ángel has directed, produced and translated early modern literature works of Shakespeare and Cervantes into bilingual adaptations that include “Ricardo II, Don Quixote, El Juez de los Divorcios.”
