Summer Learning: Whap-ama-phone Camp

In partnership with Keystone Kidspace, a week-long camp for budding musicians!

Music can truly come from anywhere – even from the pipes used for plumbing in your house! Participants in this remarkable camp will design and create their own PVC Pipe “Whap-ama-phones,” like those made popular by Blue Man Group and other “found sound” artists. Then we will learn a few songs and perform a concert at the Appell Center! No maker or music experience is required – just the desire to build something really cool and create their own distinctive sound!
