Join us for a special CapComedy evening for a wonderful cause – supporting the Arts in York County!

Shawn Banks has been exploding in comedy clubs and theaters across the country. His most recognizable asset when he takes the stage is his mere presence, at 6'3" and built like a Defensive Tackle. Shawn's brand of comedy can be explained as "Happy-Sarcastic" with stories of everyday life with his slightly slanted points of view. In addition to other stages and competitions, Shawn was a semifinalist on NBC's "America's Got Talent" and was also seen on the second season of "Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes" on TV One.

LaTice Mitchell-Klapa hails from South Jersey and travels from city to city bringing her unique style of comedy to any audience. She has been doing stand-up comedy since January 2009 and has had quite the career in such a short period of time. From performing in Las Vegas for the World Series of Comedy, performing live on ABC's “The View” for its "Hilarious Housewives" segment, and being handpicked by the late great David Brenner himself to tour on his "Comedy Stars of Tomorrow."

The guest host for this night of laughs is York’s own Victoria Connor. As the CEO of the York County Bar Association and its Foundation, one can just imagine the stories she has to add to this night of laughs!

All proceeds from CapComedy for the Cultural Alliance will benefit its 2023 annual campaign, raising critical funds for York’s arts and culture community, and will be MATCHED by an anonymous pool of donors.
