What are the box office hours?

Box Office staff will be available 10am- 2pm Monday through Friday. Internet sales are available 24/7/365.


Where can I find the status of a performance?

Up to date information regarding performances can be found on our Show page.


How will I find out if/when a performance is rescheduled or cancelled?

Once a performance has been rescheduled or cancelled the Box Office will contact ticket holders with updated information via email and phone.


What if I cannot attend a rescheduled performance?

If the new date does not work in your schedule, please contact the Box Office, via phone 717-846-1111 or email boxoffice@appellcenter.org, to further assist you.


If a performance is cancelled, how will I receive a refund?

Refunds will be made automatically to the original credit card used for purchase. Purchases made by cash or check will be refunded via check and sent to the address on account.


What is your refund policy?

Cash refunds are not available for ticket purchases. Any tickets purchased for future performances are covered by our Ticket Protection. Guests who are ill or concerned about attending a performance due to COVID-19, may exchange their tickets up to 24 hours in advance for another performance of equal or lesser value.


How will I receive my tickets?

For guests purchasing tickets online, we have several delivery options. You can receive your tickets in the mail, have your tickets held at Will Call, or use our mobile ticket option. Mailed tickets will arrive no later than two weeks in advance of the performance. If you have ordered tickets for a performance that is less than two weeks away and have not received your tickets, please contact the Box Office at 717-846-1111 for assistance.

Are beverages allowed in the theaters?

Unless otherwise noted, beverages are permitted in Appell Center cups with lids.


Does the Appell Center offer children's tickets?

No, tickets prices for children are the same as for adults. Everyone must have a ticket, regardless of age.

How is the Appell Center Funded?

The Appell Center for the Performing Arts is a non-profit organization funded by a mix of ticket revenue and donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and government sources. Click here to learn about how you can help support the Appell Center.


What if I forgot my username or password?

If you’ve forgotten your username, you can use your email address. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can complete the process to have it emailed to you. If you have an account and are unsure of the email address that is connected to it, please contact the Box Office at 717-846-1111 for assistance.


Can I use my money "on account" to order tickets online?

To utilize “on account” funds, please contact the Box Office at 717-846-1111 for assistance. On account funds can be applied to eligible purchases online at checkout.


How should I dress/is there a dress code?

The Appell Center does not have an enforced dress code. Our concerts, comedy, and film tend to be more casual. Whereas for the symphony, Broadway productions, or other select performances, business casual is popular.


May I bring a camera or video/audio recording device?

Unless specifically noted, audio and video recording of any kind during a performance is strictly prohibited. Confiscation of equipment and penalties for copyright infringement may be enforced in the event of a violation.
