The primary responsibility of this position is to be the face of the Appell Center and provide patrons with a positive experience by addressing and responding to their needs efficiently and courteously. This experience is provided by aiding patrons with accurate show or event information, assisting them in purchasing tickets and suggesting other possible additions to their experience. This includes processing ticket sales at walk-up windows, over the phone, and internet sales, using a computer based sales system (Tessitura). This position is expected to work cohesively with all employees in maintaining a professional level of customer service and assists in the daily operations of the box office including mailings, filing and other duties as assigned.Apply Now
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guide constituents with purchasing tickets over the phone and assist with web orders
Seek opportunities to suggest other shows, membership, etc.
Pleasant and professional phone etiquette is required
Manage Constituent Accounts
Current open position will work Fridays in the Appell Center Box Office, 10 AM – 4:30 PM and work at weekend shows in the Capitol Theatre. Hours will vary depending on programming with 10-20 hours per week expected.
