The Senior Box Office Agent oversees all Box Office activity including building shows, staffing events, and working with all departments to make sure events run smoothly from inception to close. Senior Box Office Agents will seek ways to increase sales while also addressing customer service needs to guests. This position will also assist in daily operations of the box office as needed.
Ticket and Software Management
Create all shows/events in ticketing database (Tessitura) for company promoted shows, education events and rentals
Implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell other ACPA events and opportunities
Coordinate all seating holds and VIP details for the artists and members. Work directly with the York Symphony Orchestra to build subscription-based seasons
Properly report sales, ticket counts and marketing sources internally and to the external agencies and partners
Develop and exhibit expertise in all areas of the company’s ticketing software
Manage box office staff including hiring, training, and termination
Lead Box Office department in thoughts, words and actions
Ensure top quality customer service
Supervise Box Office volunteers as necessary
Attend bi-weekly Tessitura meetings and others as required
